I have been on self development for months and I think one of the most important aspect is visualization. I have learnt that if you visualize your goals they start turning into reality.
Example: I always wanted my body to look like Chris Heria and slowly and slowly after so many workouts my brother one day said that your body kinda looks like Chria heria. So my dream came true! (I won't show you my photo btw).
But there's one catch to this. If your visualization isn't strong enough then you might not get the benefits from it.
Another example from my life: During my self development journey I strongly visualized about my appearance and didn't visualize much on my work/study life. As a result I progressed quickly on my appearance but my growth on study/work was almost negligible.
" If you want to start visualization
then here's some easy advice from me. Visualize your dream person and completely absorb into that person's character. "
Example: Whenever doing any task I nowadays ask myself "What would my role model do?" Let me explain more, suppose you want to workout and your inspiration is an actor then just before working out think "What would my favourite actor do? Would he workout to his full potential or just skip it?"--- The answer is most probably working out to his full potential. Now, you have your motivation to workout.
Warning: Do not use this visualization technique if your role model is a pussy (You probably understand who that is).
I used this visualization exercise. I always visualize myself as Adonis (a character created by YouTuber Hamza). Whenever I start procrastinating I say to myself What would Adonis do?" Then I have my motivation because the answer is always 'working his ass off' and I quit procrastination and get to work.
Also do not think me as a perfect person with a high work ethic. I am also a human and sometimes slip and procrastinate for a long time. But this visualization exercise has certainly reduced this procrastination habit.
I hope you learnt something from this blog. I will post more such content, so do check the website sometimes.
great stuff, please keep it up
