Compound effect: Why should you never underestimate the power of compounding.

Domino effect: 🁭🁯 Do you know about the domino effect? If you know about it, then we'll done if you don't then let me explain. So, in the book 'The One Thing' by Gary Keller. He mentions that " In 1983, Lorne Whitehead wrote in the American Journal of Physics that he’d discovered that domino falls could not only topple many things, but they could also topple bigger things. He described how a single domino is capable of bringing down another domino that is actually 50 per cent larger. " You won't understand the power of the domino effect by a simple definition so let me explain it to you. Consider a domino 2 inches tall. So according to the definition, a domino can bring down another domino which is 50 percent larger. So the 2-inch domino can bring down a 3-inch domino and the 3-inch domino can bring down a 4.5-inch domino.  It's a geometric progression and you will be surprised to know that the 17th domino can topple a domino almost the size of the L

At first, before telling you anything about my journey on podcasts let me tell you what a podcast is. So according to Wikipedia:
A podcast is an episodic series of                digital audio files that a user can                    download to a personal device to                  listen at a time of their choosing.

Types of podcasts:

There are so many types of podcasts but here are the most prominent ones:
1) Interview podcasts
2) Conversational podcasts
3) Monologue podcasts
4) Storytelling/investigative podcasts
5) Round table podcasts
6) Theatrical podcasts
7) Repurposed content podcasts
8) Hybrid podcasts

Popular podcasts:

You probably know some of these podcasts:
1) The Joe Rogan Experience
2) Crime Junkie
3) TED Talks Daily
4) Ranveer Allahbadia
5) The Daily

Why are podcasts essential for learning:

Podcasts are essential for the following purposes:

1) Podcasts allow multitasking:
You can literally drive a car while listening to a podcast.

2) Podcast are entertaining:
Podcast are a good source of entertainment. You can listen to some detective stories being narrated by a person.

3)Podcasts provide information directly to you:
Podcasts create some type of bond between the podcaster and the listener because they provide content directly to you.

The podcasts that I listen:

Now it's time for the 'me' part. Generally, I don't listen to podcasts from the comedy genre or detective stories genre. Instead I mostly listen to those types of podcasts which provide value to me by providing information.

Some of the podcasts that I listen to:
1) The Joe Rogan Experience
2) Beer Biceps
3) TED Talks Daily
4) You are not so smart

These podcasts allow me to increase my knowledge in a rather entertaining way and that's why I listen to podcasts.

Where can you listen podcasts:

Several apps provide podcasts like iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts. Even YouTube also has video podcasts.

Personally I like listen to podcasts in Spotify but it's all personal preference.
